Welcome to Queen & me! These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. Ordering

3.1. To place an order, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card.

3.2. By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions.

3.3. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. All prices are in ZAR and inclusive of applicable taxes.

4.2. We reserve the right to modify the prices of products at any time without prior notice.

4.3. Payment can be made through our secure payment gateway using credit/debit cards or other payment methods specified on the website.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1. We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days upon receipt of payment.

5.2. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and courier service. We are not liable for any delays caused by the courier company or customs clearance processes.

5.3. Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at the time of checkout.

6. Returns and Refunds

At Queen & me, we strive to provide high-quality products that meet the expectations of our valued customers. If you experience any issues with your purchase, we are here to assist you and ensure your satisfaction.

6.1. Returns of Unopened Products: We accept returns or exchanges on unopened jam products within 7 days of purchase, provided the product is in its original, sealed packaging. To return an item, please ensure it meets the following conditions:

  • The product must be in unused, unopened condition.

  • The product must be returned with the original receipt or proof of purchase.

6.2. Faulty or Damaged Products: If you receive a faulty or damaged product, we apologise for the inconvenience. Please follow these steps:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the product to report the issue.

  • Provide clear photos of the damaged or faulty product (e.g., mould, broken seals, damaged packaging) along with your order details.

  • If the product is deemed faulty, we will issue a replacement or offer a refund for the product at our discretion.

6.3. Opened Products: Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns for products that have been opened, unless there is a manufacturing defect or fault. In cases of mould, off-flavour, or other product faults, please contact us with:

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs of the product and the batch code (if applicable)

We will assess the issue and may offer a replacement or a credit for the affected item. Since jams require proper storage to maintain quality, correct storage practices are listed on the label.

6.4. How to Return a Product:

  • Contact us via [email/phone] to notify us of your return request.

  • If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product to us.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., faulty products).

6.5. Non-Returnable Items: Certain products may be non-returnable for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Items marked as “final sale”

  • Products that have been altered or personalized

  • Due to the natural nature of our ingredients, some jams may have slight variations in colour or texture. These variations do not indicate a fault in the product and are not subject to return or refund.

  • No Defects or Faults: If the product is opened and does not have a manufacturing defect, spoilage, or damage, it is considered non-returnable. We do not accept returns for reasons such as personal preference, taste, or changes of mind.

6.6. Refund Process:

  • Once we receive the returned item and verify the issue, we will process your refund or replacement within 14 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, or a store credit may be offered if you prefer.
